TREAT BOX!! USING THE FOREVER LOVELY BUNDLE!

Hello, My friends!

I hope you are all well! I have been a little under the weather so nothing like craft therapy to get a girl feeling better. Today I decided to make a cute little candy treat box for a little something to give just because a friend of mine calls them her little “Happy”  to give. These are great for Valentine’s Day but can be your little “Happy’ for any time.

PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS:

BASE OF THE BOX:

Soft Sea Foam       9 “x 6 1/2”

scored at                1″, and 2 1/2″ on all four sides

Wrap for Box

All My Love Designer Series Paper

Cut at                                            6 5/8″ x 4 1/16″

Scored on the long side at     1/2″, 2″, 3 1/2″ and 5 1/16″

Where the pencil marks are is where you will need to cut away to form the box base.

After cutting this is what you should have for your base.

I used my piercing mat with my paper piercing tool to create a hole to place the twine through. ( you could use a punch as well)

I then attached the twine and I used regular tape it down in place.

Adhere the flaps with tear and tape or multipurpose glue. (you will need a strong adhesive ) fold your flaps together to form you box.

To made this little box sturdy due to the fact you will be pulling it in and out I glued the flaps over the box edge to create a stronger box.

I stamped a sentiment and place it in the inside back of the box so when you open it you can read a sweet sentiment.

The wrap for the box is super simple after you cut and score just place your tear and tape to the  1/2 edge (on the opposite side you would like to use) wrap it around your box with enough wiggle room to allow the box to move freely and adhere that simple.

Now you have created a cute quick box to make a little “HAPPY” for someone.

I hope you have enjoyed!
