You Are Simply Wonderful!

Hello, My Friends!

Today’s card is created with the new Bloom & Grow stamp set and coordinating Budding Blooms Dies. I really Love this set great floral images that you are able to color in using the coloring tools of your choice, the possibilities are endless.

Bloom & Grow 1

I created today’s card using different coloring techniques. I first embossed using white embossing powder on Whisper White card stock measuring 51/4″ x 4″   and the FLORAL images stamped it on one side and then flip the paper over and stamped it on the other side. Now heat set it using the heat tool, using a sponge brayer and Mango Melody ink sponge over the top of the entire piece of Whisper White card stock creating an embossed resist technique.

Take a piece of Basic Black Card stock measuring 1″ x 4″ and emboss the sentiment “YOU ARE SIMPLY WONDERFUL” with white embossing powder heat set with your heat tool. Stamp the LEAF images with Granny Apple Green ink and the small FLOWER images with Melon Mambo ink, then use the coordinating Budding Blooms Dies to cut out the images. I colored the images with Water Color Pencils and a Blender Pen.

I applied snail adhesive the back right side of the Basic Black piece with the embossed sentiment then attached the Die cut Leaf images, glued the small flower images to the front right side, add dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and attach to the center of the Flower images on the layer created with the resist emboss technique.

I used White Twine and attached to the left side with a bow. Now glue these layers to your card base of Granny Apple Green 51/2″ x 81/2″ scored at 41/4″.

I really Love this technique it gives a real wow factor but is quick and easy. I hope you have enjoyed today’s card.
