Merry Christmas from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set!

Hello, my friends!

I hope you all are well, I’ve had a very busy week and I’m glad to relax and craft. Christmas is right around the corner can you believe it? Today I created a card with the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set. This is such a beautiful set and again another excuse for me to use my Stampin Blend markers to color, but you could actually use any color medium whichever is your favorite. I was thinking of Holly and hanging baubles and try to re-create it in a form of a card and gleaming says it all so what better way to make it sparkle is with a lot or a little, your choice of glitter.

I created today’s card with a card base of Basic Black measuring 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″, a scrap piece for your sentiment. The next layer is Very Vanilla card stock measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″. Plus scrap piece big enough to stamp three leaf images

Using Momento ink I stamped along the top of the left edge the Hollyleaf/berry stamp, I then colored them in using Real Red and Shaded Spruce Stampin Blend markers. Now stamp three additional Holly Leaves onto a scrap piece a Very Vanilla card stock, color them in using the same markers, then cut them out with your paper snips. I then stamped the small and the large baubles onto the Very Vanilla card stock piece, color them in using Mango Melody Stampin Blend Marker Combo. Now using Linen Twine I created a string attached with snail and glue dots to create the image of the Christmas Baubles hanging.

Now on a scrap piece of Basic Black card stock, I stamped the sentiment “Merry Christmas” with Versamark ink and used White embossing powder, heat set using your heat tool, cut it out using your paper snips.

The three Holly Leaf images that have been cut out I crinkled them a bit to give them some texture then glued the berry part and the beginning of the leave onto your Very Vanilla card base in between the images you already have stamped crunching the leaves to give it a little more dimension. Then using dimensionals I added the sentiment over the baubles.

Attach your Very Vanilla Layer onto your card base I then used the fine tip glue pen and added glue over the Holly Berries the Leaves and a slight bit over the baubles then add the Ice Stampin Glitter, to add a little sparkle and frosty Christmas feel.

I hope I’ve inspired you! Thank you for stopping by!
