GATEFOLD BIRTHDAY CARD WITH THE TO A WILD ROSE BUNDLE!

Hello, my friends!

I was in need of a few birthday cards so I created a gatefold birthday card using the wonderful To A Wild Rose Bundle. I absolutely love the beautiful multi-step distinctive stamps that come with the set as well as the beautiful font with these sentiments also comes with coordinating dies set Wild Rose Dies. This set is One of the Eight Bundles that is going to be on sale Wednesday Thursday and Friday with the Online Extravaganza.

The card base is Whisper White card stock measuring 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ score each side at 2 1/8″‘to create the gatefold. An additional piece of Whisper White card stock measuring 11″ x 1 1/2″(this is for the bellyband) Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″, as well as two panels for the front 1 7/8 ” x 5″. Two pieces of Blushing Bride card stock measuring 2″ x 5 1/4″. Scrap pieces of Whisper White cardstock for flowers and leaves, scrap piece Vellum for the sentiment.

Take your two panels of designer series paper glue down onto your two panels of Blushing Bride card stock these two panels will be glued down to each side of the front of the card to create the gate. On the designer series paper measuring 5 1/4,” x 4″ I used the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the stamp set  Beautiful Friendship but you could stamp any sentiment you prefer I stamped using Versamark ink and embossed with Black and embossing powder, heat set using your heat tool. I then stamped the foliage image onto each of the corners using Pair Pizzazz ink. Now glue this piece down onto your card base this will be the inside of your card.

On scrap pieces of Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper( I use the pattern the has a pink wash) I stamped using Rococo Rose ink and the Rose image then cut it out using the coordinating die. Using Pair Pizzazz ink I then stamped a few of the leaf images and cut them out using the coordinating die. Now stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment using Versamark ink use Black embossing powder and heat set with your heat tool. Now to create the bellyband, I glue down the Leaf images as well as the Rose onto the center of the bellyband. Then across the center of the bellyband, I glued down some of the Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon. Cut out your sentiment on Vellum using paper snips then attach to the center of the Rose with glue dots. Glue the two ends of the belly band together to create your loop. A few Rhinestones for a little bling. Your card is now complete.
