How to create a card when you don’t have Valentine’s Stamp Set because it’s not all about hearts. I created today’s card today using the Enjoy Life stamps set, the stamp set comes with silhouette images and some very encouraging sentiments. To add a little depth and texture I use the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and a Sponge Brayer to create the background, then layer the sentiment with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.
The card base Real Red card stock measuring 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ are using Shimmer White card stock measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″, you will also need scrap pieces of Real Red card stock as well as Whisper White card stock.
I used the Doily Pattern Party Decorative Mask secure it to the Shimmer White card stock, then using the Sponge Brayer I applied Real Red ink. Now using the larges of the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out this layer.
Using the scrap piece of Real Red card stock in the Stitch Nested Label Dies to cut out the Red Label. Now with a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock using the largest circle from the Stitch Shaped Dies to cut out a Whisper White circle. Stamp the sentiments” I don’t think I could and more than I already do “ using Memento ink . Then stamp the sentiment” love you” using Real Red ink using paper snips I cut around the sentiments. Glue your sentiments onto your circle, the sentiment “love you” was popped up using some dimensionals. Glue your sentiments onto your Real Red Label. To the left-hand portion of your textured layer, I added Real Red Cotton Ribbon as well as Whisper White Bakers Twine and add a bow. Glue down your sentiment layer to the right of the ribbon, now glue this layer onto your card base. Add a few Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
