Today’s projects were created using the Best Dressed Suite I absolutely am in love with this Suite, the suite includes the Dress to Impress stamp set with great sentiments beautiful font as well as fun images a ladies will love, it also has some water affect shadowing stamps to make some interesting designs on your projects. The stamps coordinate with the All Dressed Up Dies these dies coordinate with a few of the stamps including the lipstick and perfume, BUT it also has a die that creates a lovely purse that can be re-created into many many different things including backpacks. I’ve seen them made into cute holiday Santa bags the possibilities are endless, you can also make them very masculine giving them a leather type texture and a backpack look great right!
The Best Dressed Designer Series Paper I can’t get enough of, very versatile I’ve used it on some lovely cards for ladies, the pretty pastel backgrounds created lovely Easter cards. Who doesn’t love a good embellishment and the Best Dressed Tassels are just that, I truly hope they keep these tassels around for a while. As you can see in today’s projects I took the white ones and added some color with Stampin Blends marker to coordinate, you can with any color that you like.
Today’s colors are used are Highland Heather, Silver Foil, Petal Pink, and Old Olive. I did quite a bit of heat embossing using Silver embossing powder as well as White for the card. I stamped images randomly on a piece of Whisper White card stock using Silver embossing powder and then stamped over the images with the watercolor splash stamp with to create the variation. I then stamped the “hello fabulous” using Versamark ink on a piece of the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper heat set using my heat tool and then cut it out with my paper snips. I glued it to a Vellum circle. The lipstick that went with the sentiment was created using StazOn black ink stamped on Silver Foil paper then I cut it out using the coordinating All Dressed Up Dies. Now color the bottom of the White tassel with Highland Heather Stampin Blend marker, attached with a Bakers Twine bow then glue down onto your embossed layer. I then created added interest with some ribbon and bow towards the bottom of the card using the Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon.
Attach this layer onto a piece Best Dressed Designer Series Paper, attach all your layers onto a Highland Heather card base now as your card is complete.
To create this purse it is so simple using the All Dressed Up Die with some Best Dressed Designer Series Paper, add a pocket with Silver Foil( the pockets created with the die from the All Dressed Up Dies). Then using the floral image that comes with Dress to Impress stamp set using Versamark ink heat and White Embossing powder then watercolored using an Aqua Painter and Highland Heather, Old Olive inks. Attached a Petal Pink Tassel with some White Bakers Twine. This little purse has room enough for a small hand lotion, some lipstick, lip balm, some sweet treats or a little pack of tissues the possibilities are truly endless.
