Hope is the Power that makes All things Possible!!

Hello everyone!!

I hope everyone is well, these are some crazy times but I think we need to continue to encourage each other. I apologize for being MIA as many folks have had I’ve had multiple things going on at the same time but I’m attempting to make a point of staying plugged in and staying positive to help encourage each other and lift each other up, and there’s no better release then crafting!

Today’s project is A FREE celebration bundle Power of Hope.  You have until March 30 to earn this free bundle while supplies last!

Today’s project was created using both the Stone 3D embossing folder as well as the Power of Hope stamps set. I created an easel card with a relaxing technique for me coloring with watercolor pencils then performed some fuzzy cutting using my paper snips a relatively simple card that beautifully displays a powerful encouraging sentiment!

CARD BASE:

The card base is a Gray Granite card stock measuring 11″x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″, additional score line at 2 3/4 “. Basic Black card stock measuring (2) 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8”. Gray Granite card stock measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″ this layer is that embossed using the Stoned 3-D embossing folder.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock stamp your images and your sentiment using Black Stazon ink then colored using the Watercolor Pencils as well as a Blender Pen. I then cut out the sentiment as well as the images using my paper snips.

Now using the Stitch Shape Dies the second largest square I cut out to Whisper White cardstock pieces when I left one plain for the upper inside the second I stamped the Pergola image. Color the image in using Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen.

Assembly:

Glue down your in embossed layer on to your Basic Black layer, add glue to the bottom scored portion of the front of the card. then lay your layers lining it up onto the front of the card, you should have just the bottom glued down, Now add your lanterns, geisha girl and sentiment. I glued it flat on to the front of the card. Now for the inside take your card take your Basic Black layer glue it down flat and then glue down flat one of the blank Whisper White card stock squares to the upper portion. Now the bottom portion of the inside add some dimensionals to the back of the Pergola image, center it to the front bottom section of the inside of the card, that becomes the place that the card will rest on when in a propped up position.
