A WOW Card !! Created with the FLORAL ESSENCE stamp set and Heat Embossing.

Hello Everyone!

Today’s project was created quite simply using the Floral Essence stamp set White embossing powder and the Everyday Labeled Punch.

Heat embossing was one of the first things I fell in love with when I was introduced to stampin’ up the magic of the powder when it hits the heat gun creating such a wow factor.

Today’s card was created using Basic Gray card stock measuring 5 3/8” x 4 1/8”. Now using Versamark ink Stamp Floral images randomly in various directions over your piece of Basic Gray card stock, using white embossing powder and your heat tool, heat-set floral images.

On an additional piece of Basic Gray card stock stamp the other Floral image as well as the wispy leaf image using Versamark ink, use White embossing powder and heat set using your heat tool. Then using paper snips cut these images out. On an additional piece of Basic Gray card stock stamp the sentiment “ all days are beautiful that begin with you” using Versamark ink add white embossing powder and heat set with your heat tool, punch out your sentiment using the Everyday Label Punch.

Now using a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock in the Stitch Shape Dies, cut out the largest circle. Glued the sentiment to the right-hand side of the circle,, glue down a few of the leaf images, then adhered the larger floral image slightly over the sentiment. Now using dimensionals added to the back of this sentiment floral focal point placed in the center of the card. I then added a bow beneath the sentiment using the Whisper White Bakers Twine, a finishing touch was adding a few of the Basic Adhesive Back Sequences. Now glue this layer onto a Whisper White card stock base measuring 5 1/2“ x 8 1/2“ scored at 4 1/4”.

Your project is now complete, a pretty simple project with a great wow factor!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Valentine’s Day! Love You to Pieces “We Just Fit”!

Hello everyone!

Today’s card was created using the Buffalo Check background stamp as well as the love you to pieces stamp set! Just thought this was a quick and fun card, and let’s face it who doesn’t love something that has buffalo check LOL!

Today’s card was created with a card base of Basic Black card stock. The next layer was created with the Real Red card stock and the Largest of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Now I used Shimmery White card stock but you could easily use Whisper White card stock, using my Staparatus and Real Red ink I stamped the Buffalo Check background.

Now using the Layering Squares I cut out a Basic Black card stock scalloped square. I used Real Red ink I stamped two sentiments from the Love You to Pieces stamp set the first one simply states “we just fit” The second is the heart “ you are my missing piece” I colored in the small flowers using Stampin Blend markers, using paper snips I cut out the heart and glued to the Black scalloped square. Then using the Stitch Shaped Dies the smallest oval I cut out the sentiment “we just fit”. I then simply glued them onto the front of the card.

I now colored a few of the clear Epoxy Droplets using the Dark Black Stampin Blend Marker, attached to the front of the card.

I now took a piece of Whisper White card stock stamped a few hearts on the top and the bottom of opposing corners then stamped the sentiment with the puzzle piece” love you” to the center. Attach with glue to the inside of your card.

I hope you have enjoyed today’s project and Happy Valentine’s Day everyone may your day be filled with LOVE!!❤️

THANKS! Come Sail Away Suite!

Hello Everyone!

Come Sail Away Suite one of my favorite suites in the annual catalog. This card has the coastal nautical feel with tons of texture truly a fun card what a great way to say thanks! Today’s card was created with lots of layering with a little watercolor technique.

savingpngsavingpng-1savingpng-2

The card base on today’s card is in Smoky Slate card stock, the next layer is the largest of the Stitched Rectangle Dies using the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to create the focal point, I used a piece of Fluid 100 watercolor paper Balmy Blue ink And an aqua painter to create the watercolor effect.

Once this layer is dry using the Lighthouse image from the Sailing Home stamp set and Night of Navy ink, stamp off one time and then stamp over your watercolored Balmy Blue watercolored piece. Now using the Smooth Sailing Dies I then cut some Seagrass using vellum a ship wheel using Whisper White card stock.  Now using Smoky Slate ink full strength stamp the Anchor image, then cut out using the coordinating die. I stamped the sentiment ” THANK” with Versamark ink and used White embossing powder and Night of Navy card stock. Layered it on top of a piece of the striped Come Sail Away Designer Series paper cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangle Dies. Now layer up your pieces using glue as well as some dimensionals to the right of your lighthouse image added some of the Baker’s Twine as well as a Sail Away Trinket.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
